Job Description:

 

We are seeking an experienced fabrication technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various metal forming operations in a highly quality-controlled production environment, with the ability to set up tools and fabricate parts to tight tolerances under minimal supervision.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Perform specific metal fabrication operations as specified by supervisor

• Read and interpret process sheets and work instructions to perform assigned tasks

• Measure work to product specification to ensure accuracy to blueprint

• Set up and operate both die forming and roll forming equipment

• Working with manufacturing engineers and production operators to resolve production issues

 

Job Qualifications:

 

• A minimum of (5) years experience with metal fabrication a must with experience in die forming, mechanical and hydraulic presses, welding and roll forming strongly desired

• Proficient in use of basic inspection equipment, i.e. calipers, micrometers and able to interpret blueprints and process sheets

• Ability to work in a production environment and operate under minimal supervision
